Ursula Logan brings over 30 years of experience in the corporate and political arenas to the Board. Currently serving as the International Compliance Manager for a global environmental consulting firm and holding the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation, Ursula is dedicated to contributing to the Block House Creek community.
As a Block House Creek resident along with her two daughters, Ursula is deeply committed to the neighborhood. Having previously served on the BHC Owners Association Board of Directors from 2010-2012, she continues her involvement as the chair of the Owners Association’s Maintenance and Safety Committee. Ursula has been instrumental in fostering positive changes in the neighborhood's appearance, safety awareness and building community. She actively addressed deed restriction violations, emphasizing the importance of consistent enforcement. She leads initiatives to enhance safety awareness and community building through events such as National Night Out, the annual Smoke Out Crime BBQ Cook-Off, Light Up the Night, Lining the Loop on the 4th of July, Crosswalk Safety, Annual Pumpkin Patch and other community events.
Ursula's commitment extends to representing the community as the current President of the Block House MUD Board, emphasizing the importance of diverse representation on the Board. She advocates for efficiency, due diligence, and avoiding political delays in District projects. Ursula introduced the concept of meeting notes to enhance transparency and communication with the community. For several years she pushed for streaming and recording the public meetings. In 2023, the new board agreed to purchase the OWL recording system and added a Block House MUD You Tube channel. Real time transparency!
Ursula took pride in leading the Tumlinson pool renovation project as a pool subcommittee member. Her dedication to transparency and community involvement was evident in organizing an Open House during the project. Always looking for ways to improve, Ursula sees the potential for new approaches in working with residents and aims to contribute to making Block House Creek the best community in Williamson County.
Ursula is very proud of professionalism and talent the current Board brings to the District and is honored and energized to work along side the new Directors. The following projects were launched with the new board: focusing on fire breaks on the trails, major electrical improvements for both pools, improvements to the 3 miles fence, adding Robert’s Rule of Order to the Code of Conduct and policies to improve transparency and efficiency in meetings, improved security systems around the District, improved transparency with the Owl system and streaming public meetings on You Tube, unprecedented storm clean up that truly helped every single resident, adding a much needed asset database, lowering the tax rate, improving relationships with our contractors, GM, the OA, Tidal Waves and residents.
